“I have found the sea,
An ocean limitless.
I have opened a treasury unending,
Its jewels blaze with the luster of a thousand thousand suns,
And they blaze here, in my soul.
Of a sudden,

The Circle of life
“Circle of Life” originates from the artist’s grandmother’s lace, which the artist carefully unraveled piece by piece. Each fragment was then scanned and digitally animated in sequence, ultimately forming a new kind of lacework created through contemporary technology. The work tells the story of the artist’s connection with her ancestors and reflects on the circle of life that embraces each of us.
